Signs We're Home

Bill & I both grew up in Northern California, but we were in Utah for so (too?) long we wondered just how different it would be to be back in this area. On our trip to Big Sur there were signs of Home Sweet Home that really warmed our hearts:

Of course there are hanging peace sign flags.

Prop 19 didn't pass, but if it had there would have been a celebration at this particular "gift shop". Right.

Hanging peace sign flags and weird rock art? Makes me feel nostalgic and I don't even know what it means.

Need I explain? Need I say outloud and admit part of me really wanted to buy this?

Bring on the bronze budhas and anything related to Indian culture, yoga, or Hinduism. Oh so glad we're home.
