The whole crew, BIG thanks out to Bill for the goofy friggin smile & Grandpa Jim for the peace sign.

We're moving...

Perfect timing. Right before finals, snow, and the holidays, we know. Long story short, we wanna save money and my condo is less expensive. So we decided to rent the West Jordan house because it hasn't sold and the tenants in Provo were leaving so it made sense. Plus, I was offered a job to nanny for my friend Katie in Orem and it just worked out. So, within 4 days we decided to move and were already packing.

We went to check the tenants out in Provo and when they don't show up it's not a good sign. I went in and the place was in a no-need-for-details condition. So, this is my sexy hubs carrying out the nasty carpet. We had to re-paint the entire house, replace the carpet, kitchen faucet, microwave, toilet paper mountings, and both bathroom fixtures. There was something unnatural going on in the fridge and marker all over it as well as the washer and dryer. So, we've had a super cool time trying to balance work, school, remodeling & moving all in like 4 days:)
Bill has the best Dad. His parents have a carpet company and when he heard we needed some carpet, he found a remnant and drove out all the way from California and brought it to us. This is how they incorporate fun with moving:) Bill's dad is a great golfer and was teaching Bill the best way to swing, if that is the right lingo.

The kitchen getting all packed up...

The best friends a girl could ask for. Ash, Daye and Cam Manwill helped me for HOURS painting, cleaning, painting & cleaning. There is no way I could have been ready to lay carpet without them. The best part? They called and texted me for days to see if I needed any more help. Awesome Girls.

VANCE IS HERE!!!!!!!

This is how Jordan handled the situation:)Little punkin with Grandma Shelley...just a few minutes old.

Cross-eyed and beautiful...Just 5 minutes old
This is how Dallin and Beau handled the situation haha. They got busted by the janitor shortly after completing their "pop a wheely across the room' race.

This is how Mom and I handled the situation. She could only have 2 visitors at a time, we hogged most of her time before, during and after he was born.

Chelsea's Baby Shower!

My mom and I made a diaper cake for her!!! It was sooooo cute, the base was our present. We were so excited we made her blindfold herself to come look at it!
Prego herself, lame picture but it's the only one I took. der.
the spread. Brie cheese dip, veggies, artichoke and spinach dips and mini cheesecakes and blarney cakes. Food fit for a king!
The crowd, we ended up with like 27 people, fun fun fun!

My mom is teaching me to be domestic!

That night we made peach pie! It was so fun and and tasty. Who knew the skin comes right off a peach if you boil it? Convenient.

Ta da! Beauty.

Mesa Falls it's been too long

A couple weeks ago, Chels, Jordan Bill And I met the fam at the cabin. We went to these cool waterfalls I haven't been to since I was in High School. Pretty decent family picture!

playing photographer is my new favorite hobby next to sewing!

On our wedding day it was pouring down rain so I was excited to go back and take pictures of the temple from different angles and the weather was amazing!

...And the U takes 1st Place, bring on the speedos!

Bill coaches the University of Utah waterpolo team and this past weekend we went to a tournament at UCDavis. We were so excited and they took 1st place! They beat CalPoly, UCDavis, UCLA and Berkeley and others. It was awesome. Had some down time in between flights getting in so we went sight seeing, this is at the Oakland Temple.
They were ranked 13 and now they are ranked 2nd in the nation! They were so excited!
The goalie, Sam, won the MVP of the whole tournament and got his own little trophy.

BRAD PAISLEY FOR MY BIRTHDAY!

Started out super fun with Dierks Bentley opening for him, who actually was just as good if not better!
Then it started pouring! Luckily we were in the rich people section way back on the grassy knoll so we had our trusty blanket...
Brad came out yelling " I'll play all night in the rain! I don't care! I'm here for you guys who work all day and pay for a ticket with your hard earned money to come see me so I'll play till they kick us out!" and I'm like "Freak ya we do! YAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Long story short-threw off the blanket and danced, it was super fun:)

The cutest produce stand...

Have I mentioned how much I love it here? I try and try to think positive about ending up anywhere and being happy, which I will. The magical thing for me about northern California is that you don't have to try. It just happens naturally. The second we hit Donner pass and Tahoe, I feel free and easy. The air is clear, the trees and greenery consume you and the buildings and houses all look unique and authentic. Not to mention people drive fast in the fast lane and slow in the slow lane. I fell in love with this little produce stand. I always leave CA eager to come back and excited for when we hopefully can stay permanently.

A little California does a body good.

Anyone who knows me well knows how much I LOVE jelly bellys. They just do somethin right. When we were driving through Fairfield on our way to Concord to visit Bill's fam, I saw a sign for the Jelly Belly factory and I was sold. I have always wanted to go there. It seemed like everyone had been there at least once but never me. So, I dragged Bill back to Fairfield the next morning for a free tour. It was like a live episode of "How It's made", coincidentally one of my fave T.V. shows. Plus, you got a bag of free jelly bellys at the end! It was a little crowded due a preschool coming for the tour and lots of kids! haha. Hysterical. Things to do in life: go to hawaii- check. go tour the Jelly Belly factory-double CHECK!

We went boating with Bill's Fam, they are brutal. I love the bridge in the background of the pics. It was perfect weather, all that was missing was Jay:(

SHOUT OUT

Let's have a big thanks go out to Steph for my blog facelift, I love the cute birds and my header looks far less goth. Gracias. Love you.

Just a little break and we're back!

We finished our Texas trip with a bang. Derek and Steph came home and did what we do best, we went out. A favorite pastime of ours ever since I can remember, Steph and I would save our money to go out for dinner or a treat. We would talk for hours or walk around the mall, usually after Sbarro. ( yeah, we had rich taste:) We thought we were so big. Now, times have changed. We are stoked if we get a full conversation in while trying to appease Ava, Aidan, Bill & Derek. Haha! We had so much fun walking down the riverwalk and eating at this awesome restaurant called Fogo de Chao. The boys conveniently found ESPN while taking a bathroom break. We LOVED San Antonio. People are so nice and life is a little slower, and yet you are still in a big city-sweet combo. The gym there was so awesome I swear I'd move there just for that. We flew home bummed because we miss being by our best friends, but hopeful for our future when we can peace out and try out somewhere new and exciting.
