An update of our CRAZY 6 weeks in pictures...

So at this point Christmas had just passed and Jay n Anna's wedding too and we were home and getting back into the swing of things when I realized the next 2 months would be a whirlwind of trips, visitors and chaos...

Jay n Anna came to visit to watch the NFC championship, The Niners were finally sooooo close to the superbowl and in our family we gather and celebrate athletic events such as this :)

Every night Bill comes home Cade won't even let him go upstairs and change, they play "hoops" in the dark on the porch. He drags him by the pant leg.
I saw him notice his boy nips one day at lunch and I knew he was gonna pinch it, so glad I had my phone ready. SO FUNNY!
It's no secret, I love this coastline. Still in denial that we actually live here.
One weekend in January Gma and Gpa Tall came to Palo Alto and Cade and I got to go spend the day with them. It was more than amazing because I have been missing them so badly. With the exception of a couple years I have always lived within 15 mins of them so moving here was an adjustment. Mary took us to the city for the day and went to the Ferry Building which was awesome. I fell in love. Great food, great shops. love love LOVED.
Bay Bridge
I adore this pic. It's my Gram and my boy. His great grandma. Weird that my Gram is a great gram. The sweetest thing is to hear her sing songs to him that she used to sing to me. Gets me all misty.
The Ferry Building

Cade LOVES his auntie Mary. She is so sweet to him, her future grandkids are gonna be spooooooiled:)

Makin cookies with Auntie Mar
A week or so later Cousin Whitney came to visit for the weekend from Vegas. So relaxing and fun to catch up. Cade also fell in love her. I wish she could've stayed forever. Come back any time, any day Whit. I luh you. She stayed through monday and right after she flew out of Monterey we headed up to Concord to fly out of OAK to SLC for baby Norah's arrival...

On our way to Concord...Cade couldn't see the iPad. HAH!
Chels and I at Olive Garden for her last supper. One of them at least.
10 months along and climbing up in the chik-fil-a play place. Good work.

Cade and Vance, best buddies...technology brings them together...

Mom snuggling and singing to Cade one night when he would NOT go to bed.

Thursday Feb. 2nd baby Norah joined the fam. She was and is amazing. Chelsea did great. It was a privilege to witness it.

Great Gma Tall again with her latest addition...

We stayed at Grandma Tall's the whole time and Cade had a ball...

We got to hang with Jaynie girl and her mama one of my dearest friends Ash.
We love the Mounteers.
NORAH

We met the Carter uncles for a little Cafe Rio

Getting a bath from 2 Grandmas.
Then, we headed to Denver on our way to Billings. We went up to see/help Dallin before he left for mission. Lots of flying for a flying-hater...

We did P90X a few mornings. Loved it.

Snuck a pic of Dal on the stand before his awesome farewell talk.
Driving my little Dal to the airport to head to the MTC. Dad was in Africa and was a part of everything, I mean everything, via skype.

SO proud of Dallin, he is going to be incredible. Such a thoughtful sweet boy and now he's a man I guess. Can't wait to see what the next 2 years brings.
Mom introducing Cade to the neighbors...donkey 1 and donkey 2.
Cade was in love with Chico.
Beau is in a play this spring at school...Les Miserables. Too cool. We went to the school to watch their practice since we can't be there for the performance. Loved it.

So then we flew home after 2.5 weeks away from Bill and went straight to the cabin for President's Day and Bill's birthday with our friends, The Browns. The boys went skiing and Josie and I took the boys sledding...fun weekend. Good food.

Sunday night we headed to Concord for the last night of the holiday weekend and Bill's 32nd Bday...it was gorgeous weather so we played wiffle ball in the driveway and Alex was here from UT.
Bill has the BEST sister in the world. Look at the delicious and beautiful lemon strawberry cake she made for Bill. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Spring training has started and we are stoked in our house. Summertime, BBQ's and Giants games are just around the corner.
FINALLY we made it home. This is my favorite view on the freeway. Since I was driving whilst taking this pic, it obviously won't do it justice, but trust me, it's cool.
Mr. Sun popped his head out and we headed for the beach the very first day.
Amazing, slow Monterey day.
Back where we feel centered.

Three generations of waterpolo boys at Uncle Jay's game in San Jose.
Mt. Mike's for family night.
Napping at Target
You say you need marital therapy? Pick up racquetball and play against each other. Relationship changing.
SO FUN.
It's our new thing.
My mom got us our very own racquets for Bill's Bday. Perfect gift.
So a few days go by and Steph, my sister-cousin, gives me a call ( more like a heytell, let's be real here, we don't actually use cell phones for the sole purpose...) and she has a hankering to head to our hometown of Chico. We always toss around going together, never thought she meant it. Well, a week later she and baby girl Abbie flew into Monterey for the day before we went to Chico for a 4 day weekend. Any other trip I would've said a quick and easy no thanks, but CHICO? With STEPH? Any day. So we went. Stayed at a great hotel, ate our favorite foods and pranced down memory lane for a few days. Not to mention we haven't been alone for longer than an hour or so since she was pregnant with Ava 6 years ago. Crazy. Abbie and Cade beat each other up, but had a blast. Cade this morning was even looking for her.
Abbie? Abbie? ABBBBBBIEEEE?
Tear.
Walking the coast trail before heading out. The weather was sub par. Lame.
I'm just gonna sit in here real quick and you are gonna pull me...
wait! wait! Too fast!!

Yeah, baby.
Oh, I dream about their chips n salsa.

Uncle Scott, cousin Chase and Colton at Woodstock pizza.

We might've had this 4 nights in a row. Peanut butter carob granola n Fro Yo. Mmmmmmm.

Chico Farmer's Market is always great. Good food, fun people etc...
Miss it and it's crazy eclectic ways every saturday.

Steph and her fam
Took a bike tour of downtown. We were sitting on a sub woofer blasting disco.
His shirt is allll truth.
Gma Kay and Gpa Jim's old house. Reminisce sometimes.
Headed to Scotts for Sunday

La Hacienda for dinner, ne'er disappoints.
Wheels on the bus as we checked out of the hotel to drive back to Monterey:(
But not before stopping in Dublin for Tomatina. Fab fab faaaab.
And we're back.
For reals this time.
So excited to sit on my couch and snuggle my boys and watch a show.
We headed to the Children's Museum today with our friends the Bradburns--Cade loved it. Might have to buy a pass.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WAS ALL IN THE LAST 6 WEEKS?????
ME NEITHER.
